Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only unless you are having an emergency. Same day or next day appointments will be given, based upon availability. Emergency services will be provided anytime. New patients are always welcomed. As every effort is made to be on time for our patients, we ask that you extend the same courtesy to us by arriving a few minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Cancellations

Our primary goal is to assist you in attaining and maintaining optimal oral health. Therefore, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We trust that no change in your appointment will be necessary and we will call you 48 hours in advance to confirm your reserved time. You will be asked to give our office 2 business days notice should you need to cancel your reserved appointment. This courtesy on your part will make it possible to give your appointment to another patient. If you fail to keep an appointment, or give less than 24 hours notice for a cancellation, there will be a $50.00 charge. We reserve the right to dismiss you from the practice if you fail to show for two or more appointments.

Financial Policy

Co-payments and co-insurances are due at the time services are rendered. We gladly accept cash, check, insurance assignments, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

There is a $25.00 charge for all returned checks.

Insurance

Our office is contracted with the following insurance companies: Delta Dental PPO, Delta Dental Premier, Delta Dental Legion, HealthSmart Benefit Solutions, Medicaid, Metlife PPO, NC HealthChoice, and United Concordia. We also participate with Ameriplan discount plan.

No insurance company attempts to cover all dental costs. Some pay fixed allowances for certain procedures; others pay a percentage of the charge. You are responsible to pay any deductible, co-insurance at the appointment time. You are also responsible for any other balance not paid by your insurance.

If you are not the policyholder, make sure that you have all the policyholders' information in order to file the dental claim.

Any questions regarding insurance should be discussed with our financial consultants. We will be happy to help you receive the maximum benefits available under your policy. Please remember, however, that the relationship is between you, the insured patient, and the insurance company.

Non Contracted Insurance Companies
Payment is due in full at the time of service for patients who have a non-contracted insurance policy. This means you will be responsible for any fees over what your insurance company considers reasonable and customary.

Medicaid
You MUST bring a valid ID and your Medicaid card to each appointment. Patients 21 years of age and older must also bring their $3.00 Medicaid co-payment.

Secondary Insurance Companies
For persons with two dental insurances, we will honor your primary insurance. The patient is responsible for all secondary insurances.

Patient Financing

The office also offers the opportunity to pay your dental bills through a number of specialized financing programs, such as Care Credit and Chase Healthcare Advantage. It is ideal for co-payments, deductibles, and treatment not covered by insurance. Patients may be pre-approved on the spot for a low-interest monthly payment plan including: 6 and 12 months no interest.

With the financing program provided by Care Credit, if accepted, you will no longer have to put off your dental needs or desires!
